HAND UP PEORIA, INC.

Community isn't a place.
It's how we show up.

For food. For everyday needs. For each other.

THE REASON WE ARE HERE

From lived experience
to shared possibility.

Everyone deserves to be met with care, not judgment.

Founder Pam Wiley saw needs that ordinary food distributions did not always meet. What began with collecting and sharing food grew into Hand Up Peoria's community pantry work.

Today, the organization operates from the Wraparound Center, helping neighbors access food and everyday essentials while connecting with wider community resources.

Hand Up Peoria is an independent nonprofit. Sharing a home with the Wraparound Center does not make it a department of Peoria Public Schools.

HOW WE SHOW UP

People first.
Always.

Dignity, not judgment.

A difficult season does not define a person. Every conversation starts with respect.

Neighbors, not numbers.

Care is a relationship, not just a bag of groceries. Connection matters.

Practical hope.

Meeting a need today can create a little more room for tomorrow.
